Ms. Akhila Narayanan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English with a decade of teaching experience encompassing both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Beyond her academic roles, she served as a CET trainer with the Additional Skills Acquisition Programme (ASAP), a Kerala Government initiative.
Her research specialization revolves around graphic narratives, particularly Indian graphic novels. She earned her Ph.D. with a thesis titled “The Dynamics of Entextualization: A Reading of Select Indian Graphic Novels.” She currently instructs courses in Literary Theory, Women Writing, Medieval English literature, Indian writing, Indian poetics, and American literature.
